Terms of Service

To use certain features of Pantro, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Pantro uses artificial intelligence to provide recipe recommendations, generate recipes, analyze images, and provide other features. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy
• Recipe suggestions may not account for all allergies, dietary restrictions, or food safety requirements
• You are responsible for verifying ingredients and cooking instructions
• AI features are subject to usage limits which may change over time

Pantro offers optional paid subscriptions (Basic and Plus) purchased through Google Play. A subscription is not required to use the Service. By subscribing you agree that:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Google Play account and renew automatically until cancelled
• You can cancel anytime in Google Play's Subscription Center; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period
• Prices are shown before purchase and may change; changes apply from a future billing period after notice
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy and applicable consumer law

Free trial: New accounts receive free access to Plus-level features for a limited period (currently 14 days) starting at signup. No payment method is required and nothing is charged automatically — when the trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan unless you choose to subscribe. Invited beta testers may receive a longer access window.

You retain ownership of content you create or upload to Pantro, including personal recipes and pantry data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the Service
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our features
• Display your content back to you across your devices

You agree not to upload content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malicious code or harmful content
• Attempts to exploit or harm other users

By using the Service, you agree that we may collect anonymous, first-party analytics data to understand feature usage, measure app performance, and improve the user experience. This includes:

• Feature interaction events (e.g., which tabs are opened, number of items added)
• Session duration and platform type
• Error reports and crash diagnostics

Analytics data does not include the content of your food items, recipes, or personal information. We do not use analytics for advertising, cross-app tracking, or sharing with third parties. Analytics and diagnostic data is automatically deleted after 180 days. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Recipe information will be accurate or suitable for your needs
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Data will always be preserved or accessible

Food Safety Notice: Always use your own judgment regarding food safety. Expiration dates are estimates and actual food safety depends on storage conditions and other factors.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
